Doctor Jane Howard

My newest patient Raymond X has an interesting fixation that
should be shared with the public as his condition is so relevant to
our times. Raymond came to me on a search for his "missing
fiancé," who during our short conversation became his missing
wife."

When asked about this change of status for the missing person he
related that not many people knew they were married; perhaps
even his wife was unaware of the marriage.

He had perfect recall of her features, hair color and the timbre of
her voice, yet the person he described seemed to be in her teens.
Raymond is 29. I prodded him about this and he revealed that she
had been missing for 15 years.
