The prospect of losing Martin collapsed his world entirely. He went
mad. His language became scrambled. He mixed business terminology
with military jargon and psychobabble -- demonstrating once again
that if you can't speak coherently you probably can't think coherently
either. He patted the boy's head anxiously while muttering about the
R.O.I. and throw-weight of force-multiplier conditional acceptance.

He even came to accept the graceful exit of final determination
believing that his thoughts would continue on in Martin's head. When
faced with the prospect that they wouldn't he became even more
despondent.

Before his stage-exit P. Money engaged in a feverish review of the
documentation of his life. There was his will and several worthless
trusts as well as the prospectus for his no-value company.

With the timeless disposition of a madman he worked through the
night incorporating his son as a subsidiary corporation. Unable to
patent or trademark Martin's good and inquisitive nature he turned
these attributes into the holdings of a limited partnership wholly
owned by Martin Money Inc. a subsidiary of Phoulish Money Ltd. His
work done he made an attempt at haiku on his desk blotter: "So many
bad feelings; nothing good on TV... --time for an unpleasant voyage..."

He divested his clothing at the beach, affixed his snorkel and using a
cinderblock for ballast disappeared into the globally-warmed surf.

The news of Martin Money's appearance in the larger world did not
make it to one significant blog let alone a printed newspaper. Sure,
sure Ophelia Burgher-Money could have custody of his limited choices.
But the courts decided who would have ownership of him.

The debts and mounting legal liabilities of Phoulish Money Ltd forced
the holding firm into receivership. Once there various creditors and
plaintiffs fought over who should get stuck with the company much as
a poor player is lastly chosen for a team ("You take him! --No,
YOU take
him!")
