Another offering by the obscure Channel49 Film group hit the
Internet this weekend with a work-in-progress. Out of a swirling
fog of gray-scale came form, movement, music and narration
denoting those hard to explain thoughts that evoked by dreams
evaporate under scrutiny.
Gray-scale morphed to color as the work became a psudeo travel
log from an alternative universe. One has to re-set one's mind from
expectations of mayhem which is the normal cinematic fare these
days. The first five minutes pass slowly, then one drifts along as on
a lucid dream one has bought into. The problem with such a narrow
niche market like this; is how can one make any money with this
sort of art?
